Prof. Friedrich Metzger led preclinical development of Risdiplam (Evrysdi™) at Roche, an FDA/EMA-approved oral therapy for spinal muscular atrophy. He is Co-Founder & CSO of Versameb AG and co-inventor of VMB-100, ValamAi's engineered IGF-I mRNA therapeutic. Prof. Metzger is Professor of Neurobiology at the University of Freiburg and holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Tübingen, with more than 100 publications, 3,700+ citations and 18+ years of pharma and biotech R&D experience. He advises ValamAi on indication expansion, translational biology, clinical development strategy and its global KOL network.
